Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the day when We shall assemble the righteous towards the Most Gracious, as guests. 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son. 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
