Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
