Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent Allah to receive honors 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
