T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ O MAN! 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 it is only a reminder for him who fears Allah; 3 A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens. 4 The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. 5 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and whatever lies in between them, and all that lies under the ground. 6 And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. 7 Allah! there is no god but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. 8 AND HAS the story of Moses ever come within thy ken? 9 When he saw a fire he said to his family: "You wait here. I have seen a fire. I may haply be able to bring an ember from it, or find direction by the fire." 10 When he came to it, a voice cried, 'Moses, 11 Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! 12 And I! I have chosen thee, hearken thou then to that which shall be revealed. 13 “Indeed it is Me, Allah – there is no God except I – therefore worship Me and keep the prayer established for My remembrance.” 14 "Verily, the Hour is coming and My Will is to keep it hidden that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives. 15 So do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his desire, for you [then] would perish. 16 What is that in your right band, O Moses?" 17 "It's my staff," he answered; "I lean on it, and fell leaves for my goats with it, and I have other uses for it." 18 (Allah) said, "Throw it, O Moses!" 19 He cast it down, and behold! It was a snake, moving quickly. 20 The Lord said, "Hold the serpent and do not be afraid; We will bring it back to its original form." 21 And press thy hand to thy side, it will come forth white, without hurt, as another sign. 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 Go to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel." 24
