He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 "Ease my task for me; 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 so that they may understand me. 28 “And appoint for me a viceroy from among my family.” 29 Aaron, my brother; 30 Add Thou through him to my strength, 31 And associate him (with me) in my affair, 32 So shall we glorify Thee, 33 and remember Thee abundantly. 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 The Lord said, "Moses, your request is granted. 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 Then your sister followed you, and said (to the people who had retrieved the child): 'Should I guide you to a person who can nurse him?' We thus brought you back to your mother that her heart may be cheered, and she may not grieve. (Remember) when you killed a man We saved you from anguish; and tested and steeled you (in other ways). Afterwards you sojourned for several years with the people of Midian; then you came up to the measure, 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has waxed insolent; 43 But speak unto him in a mild manner, so that he might bethink himself or [at least] be filled with apprehension. 44 The two [brothers] said: "O our Sustainer! Verily, we fear lest he act hastily with regard to us, or lest he [continue to] transgress all bounds of equity." 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 [But when God's message was conveyed unto Pharaoh,] he said: "Who, now, is this Sustainer of you two, O Moses?" 49 He said, “Our Lord is One Who gave everything its proper shape, then showed the path.” 50 Said Firaun, “What is the state of the former generations?” 51 He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a Record. My Lord neither erreth nor forgetteth, 52 He who appointed the earth to be a cradle for you, and therein threaded roads for you, and sent down water out of heaven, and therewith We have brought forth divers kinds of plants. 53 so eat and graze your cattle. In this there are signs for men of understanding. 54
