They will ask you about the mountains. Tell them: "My Lord will uproot them from the base, 105 and leave the earth a levelled plain 106 with neither hollows nor upthrust mounds to be seen. 107 That day they will follow the summoner from whom there will be no receding; and their voices will be hushed before Ar-Rahman, and you will not hear a sound but faint shuffling. 108 On that day no one's intercession will be of any benefit unless he has received permission from the Beneficent God and whose word is acceptable to Him. 109 He knows all that is before them and all that is behind them, whereas their knowledge cannot encompass it. 110 ۞ And the faces shall be humbled before the Living, the Self-subsistent Allah, and he who bears iniquity is indeed a failure. 111 And whoever does good works and he is a believer, he shall have no fear of injustice nor of the withholding of his due. 112 And thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an and have diversified therein the warnings that perhaps they will avoid [sin] or it would cause them remembrance. 113 High above all is Allah, the King, the Truth! Be not in haste with the Qur'an before its revelation to thee is completed, but say, "O my Lord! advance me in knowledge." 114 And certainly We gave a commandment to Adam before, but he forgot; and We did not find in him any determination. 115
