Then whoso doeth some good works and is a believer, there will be no rejection of his effort. Lo! We record (it) for him. 94 It has been ordained against every town that We ever destroyed that they shall not return (to enjoy a new lease of life) 95 Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every hill. 96 And the True Promise draweth nigh; then behold them, staring wide (in terror), the eyes of those who disbelieve! (They say): Alas for us! We (lived) in forgetfulness of this. Ah, but we were wrong-doers! 97 Verily ye and whatsoever ye worship beside Allah shall be firewood for Hell: thereunto ye shall go down. 98 If these had been gods, they would not have got there! but each one will abide therein. 99 Theirs therein shall be roaring, and therein they shall hear not. 100 Verily those for whom the good has preceded from Us, they will be removed far therefrom (Hell) [e.g. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary); 'Uzair (Ezra), etc.]. 101 They will not hear its faintest sound, and they shall abide in that which their souls long for. 102 They will not be affected by the great terror. The angels will come to them with this glad news: "This is your day which was promised to you." 103 On that Day, We shall roll up the heaven like a written scroll is rolled. As We originated the first creation, so will We bring it back again. This is a binding promise on Us which We shall assuredly fulfill. 104 For We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance, 'The earth shall be the inheritance of My righteous servants.' 105 This Qur’an is sufficient for people who are devout. 106 We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures. 107 Say: 'It is revealed unto me only that your God is One God; do you then surrender?' 108 But if they turn away, say: "I have proclaimed this in equity unto all of you alike; but I do not know whether that [judgment] which you are promised [by God] is near or far [in time]. 109 He knows your spoken words and what you hide. 110 But [as for me,] I do not know whether, perchance, this [delay in God's judgment] is but a trial for you, and a [merciful] respite for a while." 111 The Messenger said: "My Lord! Judge with truth. Our Compassionate Lord alone is our support against your (blasphemous) utterances." 112
