Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. 94 And a ban is laid on every town which We have destroyed, that they Shall not return. 95 Until when the way is opened up for Gog and Magog and they press from every elevated place, 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 'Surely you, and that you were serving apart from God, are fuel for Gehenna; you shall go down to it.' 98 “Had these been Gods they would not go into hell; and they have to remain in it.” 99 They will bray in it and not be able to hear anything in it. 100 Surely (as for) those for whom the good has already gone forth from Us, they shall be kept far off from it; 101 And will not hear its hissing, and will live for ever in the midst of what their hearts desire. 102 The Great Terror will bring them no grief: but the angels will meet them (with mutual greetings): "This is your Day,- (the Day) that ye were promised." 103 The Day when We shall roll up the heavens as a recorder rolleth up a written scroll. As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise (binding) upon Us. Lo! We are to perform it. 104 Surely We wrote in the Psalms, after the exhortation, that the earth shall be inherited by My righteous servants. 105 Herein, surely, is a message for those devoted to worship. 106 We have sent you as a benevolence to the creatures of the world. 107 Say: 'It is revealed to me that your God is One God, do you then surrender' 108 But if they turn away, then say, "I have announced to [all of] you equally. And I know not whether near or far is that which you are promised. 109 Lo! He knoweth that which is said openly, and that which ye conceal. 110 I do not know (why God has commanded me to warn you of the torment). Perhaps it is a trial for you and a respite for an appointed time". 111 Say, "My Lord, judge with truth. Our Lord is the Gracious One whose help we seek against what you utter." 112
