Do you not see that Allah has made subservient to you whatsoever is in the earth and the ships running in the sea by His command? And He withholds the heaven from falling on the earth except with His permission; most surely Allah is Compassionate, Merciful to men. 65 It is He who gives you life, then makes you die; then He will bring you back to life again. Man is surely most ungrateful. 66 For every religion We have appointed rites which they perform. So, [O Muhammad], let the disbelievers not contend with you over the matter but invite them to your Lord. Indeed, you are upon straight guidance. 67 And if they argue with you (as regards the slaughtering of the sacrifices), say; "Allah knows best of what you do. 68 On the Day of Resurrection, God will judge between you regarding your differences. 69 Knowest thou not that Allah knoweth whatsoever is in the heaven and the earth? Verily that is in a Book; verily that is for Allah easy. 70 And yet they [who claim to believe in Him often] worship [other beings or forces] beside God - something for which He has never bestowed any warrant from on high, and [of the reality] whereof they cannot have any knowledge: and such evildoers shall have none to succour them [on Judgment Day]. 71 And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, you will notice a denial on the faces of the disbelievers! They are nearly ready to attack with violence those who recite Our Verses to them. Say: "Shall I tell you of something worse than that? The Fire (of Hell) which Allah has promised to those who disbelieve, and worst indeed is that destination!" 72
