BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 47 These Gardens will abound in green, blooming branches. 48 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 49 Wherein are two fountains flowing. 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 In which will be of every fruit two kinds. 52 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 59 Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness? 60 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 The greenest of green pastures. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 67 Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate. 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 71 There shall be maidens sheltered in tents. 72 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 73 Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 74 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 75 [They will live in such a paradise] reclining upon green cushions and the finest carpets. 76 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 77 HALLOWED be thy Sustainer's name, full of majesty and glory! 78
