O YOU APOSTLES! Partake of the good things of life, and do righteous deeds: verily, I have full knowledge of all that you do. 51 And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me." 52 But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing. 53 But leave them alone, lost in their ignorance, until a [future] time. 54 Do they imagine that the wealth and children We have provided 55 We are busy lavishing on them all kinds of good? Nay, they do not perceive the reality of the matter. 56 Verily, [only] they who stand in reverent awe of their Sustainer, 57 And those who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 And they who do not associate anything with their Lord 59 and who give whatever they [have to] give with their hearts trembling at the thought that unto their Sustainer they must return: 60 Are the ones who hasten to goodness and outpace the others. 61 We do not burden a soul beyond capacity, for We have a record that tells the truth. No wrong will be done to any one. 62 NAY, [as for those who have torn asunder the unity of faith] - their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this! But apart from that [breach of unity] they have [on their conscience even worse] deeds; and they will [continue to] commit them 63 Till, when We seize with the chastisement the ones of them that live at ease, behold, they groan. 64 "Do not supplicate for help today; you will not be rescued by Us; 65 “My verses were recited to you, so you used to turn back on your heels.” 66 in arrogance, as if you were abandoning a story-teller. 67 Have they not pondered over the Word (of Allah, i.e. what is sent down to the Prophet SAW), or has there come to them what had not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or do they not recognise their Messenger, that they deny him? 69 Or do they say that there is madness in him? Nay, he has brought them the Truth and it is the Truth that most of them disdain. 70 But if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away. 71 Or is it that you ask them a recompense? But the recompense of your Lord is best, and He is the best of those who provide sustenance. 72 (Muhammad), you certainly have called them to the right path, 73 But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ And even were We to show them mercy and remove whatever distress might befall them [in this life,] they would still persist in their overweening arrogance, blindly stumbling to and fro. 75 Already We have seized them with the punishment, but they neither humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they beseech Him, 76 Until when We shall open upon them a portal of severe torment, and lo! thereat they are desparing. 77
