O ye messengers! enjoy (all) things good and pure, and work righteousness: for I am well-acquainted with (all) that ye do. 51 And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me." 52 But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief. 53 So leave them in their bewilderment for a while. 54 Think they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We provide them 55 We are hastening to them of good things? Nay, they do not perceive. 56 Verily, [only] they who stand in reverent awe of their Sustainer, 57 who have full faith in the Signs of their Lord; 58 and who do not ascribe divinity to aught but their Sustainer, 59 And those who dispense their charity with their hearts full of fear, because they will return to their Lord;- 60 These race for the good things, and they shall win them in the race. 61 And We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity, and with Us is a Book that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are covered (blind) from understanding this (the Quran), and they have other (evil) deeds, besides, which they are doing. 63 So that when We seize the affluent among them with affliction, they will begin to implore for help. 64 "Do not implore this day; you will not be helped by Us." 65 My Signs were rehearsed to you and you turned back on your heels and took to flight, 66 Stiff-necked, discoursing thereof by night, reviling. 67 Have they, then, never tried to understand this word [of God]? Or has there [now] come to them something that never came to their forefathers of old? 68 Or did you not recognize your Messenger and, thus, denied him (Muhammad) 69 or you said that he is possessed by satan? In fact, he has brought you the truth, but most of you dislike it. 70 Had the truth followed their desires, the heavens and the earth and all that is in them would have been destroyed. We sent them the Quran but they ignored it. 71 Or is it that you ask them a recompense? But the recompense of your Lord is best, and He is the best of those who provide sustenance. 72 (Muhammad), you certainly have called them to the right path, 73 but those who disbelieve the life hereafter deviate from the right path. 74 ۞ Though We had mercy on them and relieved them of the harm afflicting them, they still would wander blindly on in their contumacy. 75 Already We have seized them with the punishment, but they neither humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they beseech Him, 76 until We open before them a gate of harsh punishment and then they will be dumbfounded. 77
