1/2 Hizb 35

Messengers! Eat of that which is good and do good deeds; I have knowledge of the things you do. 51 Your nation is but one nation, and I am your Lord, therefore fear Me. 52 But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing. 53 So leave them in their error for a time. 54 Do they imagine that the wealth and children We have provided 55 We [but want to] make them vie with one another in doing [what they consider] good works? Nay, but they do not perceive [their error]! 56 Surely they who from fear of their Lord are cautious, 57 who have full faith in the Signs of their Lord; 58 and who do not ascribe divinity to aught but their Sustainer, 59 who spend their property for the cause of God, and whose hearts are afraid of their return 60 It is these who race for the good deeds, and they are foremost in them [e.g. offering the compulsory Salat (prayers) in their (early) stated, fixed times and so on]. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a Book with Us which speaks the truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 Yet their hearts are oblivious of this; and besides, they are busy with other things, 63 Until, when We grasp those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment, behold! They make humble invocation with a loud voice. 64 'Groan not today; surely you shall not be helped from Us. 65 My verses were recited to you, but you turned upon your heels, 66 Insolently, treating them like tales told at night." 67 Was it that you did not give any thought to it (the Quran)? Was it different from what was revealed to your fathers? 68 Or do they not recognize their Messenger, and so deny him? 69 Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth. 70 And if the Truth had followed their desires, verily the heavens and the earth and whosoever is therein had been corrupted. Nay, We have brought them their Reminder, but from their Reminder they now turn away. 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 You are calling them to a Straight Way, 73 And verily those who believe not in the Hereafter are deviating from that Way. 74 ۞ If We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering in distraction to and fro. 75 Already We have seized them with the punishment, but they neither humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they beseech Him, 76 until We open before them a gate of harsh punishment and then they will be dumbfounded. 77

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
