O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 The people divided themselves into many sects, each with their own book and each happy with whatever they had. 53 So leave them in their confusion for a time. 54 Deem they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We enlarge them. 55 We hasten unto them with good things? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Indeed those who are overwhelmed due to the fear of their Lord 57 who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 and do not ascribe partners to Him; 59 And those who give whatsoever they give, while their hearts are anxious that unto their Lord they are to be returners. 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works, and it is they who outrun [all others] in attaining to them! 61 And We do not lay on any soul a burden except to the extent of its ability, and with Us is a book which speaks the truth, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. 62 NAY, [as for those who have torn asunder the unity of faith] - their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this! But apart from that [breach of unity] they have [on their conscience even worse] deeds; and they will [continue to] commit them 63 To the extent that when We seized the wealthy among them with punishment, they immediately began imploring. 64 "Put a stop to your groaning now! Surely no help shall be provided to you from Us. 65 Our revelations had certainly been recited to you, but you turned your backs to them 66 [and,] impelled by your arrogance, you would talk senselessly far into the night." 67 Have they, then, never tried to understand this word [of God]? Or has there [now] come to them something that never came to their forefathers of old? 68 Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? 69 Or, say they: in him is madness? O Aye he brought them the truth, and most of them to the truth are averse. 70 If truth had followed their whims and desires, heavens and earth and all that lives in them would have been brought to ruin. Rather We have brought them their Reminder. Yet they keep avoiding their Reminder. 71 Or do you ask of them any tribute? In that case the tribute of your Lord is better, for He is the best of providers. 72 And most surely you invite them to a right way. 73 But those who do not believe in the Hereafter have indeed deviated from that path. 74 ۞ And though We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, still they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And indeed, We tested them through suffering, but they did not abase themselves before their Sustainer; and they will never humble themselves 76 when We opened on them a gate of severe punishment, they utterly despaired. 77

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
