Messengers! Eat of that which is good and do good deeds; I have knowledge of the things you do. 51 And verily this religion of yours is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 Yet they have split their affairs between themselves into sects, each rejoicing in what it has. 53 So leave them to their ignorance for a time. 54 Do they assume that the wealth and sons which We provide them – 55 have no other purpose except to help them in acquiring material benefits? No indeed. But they do not understand. 56 Surely those who tremble in fear of their Lord 57 And those who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 And those who join not anyone (in worship) as partners with their Lord; 59 and those who give what they give, their hearts quaking that they are returning to their Lord -- 60 These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first. 61 And We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity, and with Us is a Book* that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. (* The preserved tablet or the record of one’s deeds.) 62 On the contrary, their hearts are in neglect of this and their works are different than those of the believers, the works that they are doing. 63 Till, when We seize with the chastisement the ones of them that live at ease, behold, they groan. 64 (It will be said): "Groan not in supplication this day: for ye shall certainly not be helped by Us. 65 My verses had already been recited to you, but you were turning back on your heels 66 "In arrogance: talking nonsense about the (Qur'an), like one telling fables by night." 67 Pondered they not over the Word? or came there unto them that which came not unto their fathers ancient? 68 Or is it, perchance, that they have not recognized their Apostle, and so they disavow him? 69 Or say they: "There is madness in him?" Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. "(A) Tauhid: Worshipping Allah Alone in all aspects (B) The Quran (C) The religion of Islam,"] but most of them (the disbelievers) are averse to the truth. 70 If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, truly the heavens and the earth, and all beings therein would have been in confusion and corruption! Nay, We have sent them their admonition, but they turn away from their admonition. 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 And most surely you invite them to a right way. 73 But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ Even if We showed them mercy and relieved them of their afflictions, they would still persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And indeed We seized them with punishment, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke (Allah) with submission to Him. 76 To the extent that when We opened the gate of a severe punishment for them, they thereupon lie despairingly in it. 77
