Messengers, eat what is wholesome and do good deeds: I am well aware of what you do. 51 Your religion is one and I am your Lord. Have fear of Me". 52 Then they cut their affair among them in regard to the Scriptures; each band in that which is with them rejoicing. 53 But leave them alone, lost in their ignorance, until a [future] time. 54 Deem they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We enlarge them. 55 We are busy lavishing on them all kinds of good? Nay, they do not perceive the reality of the matter. 56 Lo! those who go in awe for fear of their Lord. 57 who have full faith in the Signs of their Lord; 58 who consider nothing equal to their Lord, 59 And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities, etc., have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning). 60 These race for the good things, and they shall win them in the race. 61 On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear: before Us is a record which clearly shows the truth: they will never be wronged. 62 Aye! their hearts are in bewilderment in respect thereof, and they have works beside that, of which they are workers. 63 Until, when We seize in Punishment those of them who received the good things of this world, behold, they will groan in supplication! 64 We shall tell them, "Do not cry for help on this day; you will receive none from Us". 65 My Signs were rehearsed to you and you turned back on your heels and took to flight, 66 In scorn thereof. Nightly did ye rave together. 67 Did they never ponder over this Word (of God)? Or has he (to wit, the Messenger) brought something the like of which did not come to their forefathers of yore? 68 Or did they not recognise their Messenger and so denied him? 69 Or do they say that he is possessed? In fact, he has brought the truth to them, but most of them abhor the truth. 70 And were the truth to follow their desires there would have been corrupted the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is therein. Aye! We have come to them with their admonition; so it is from their admonition that they turn away. 71 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask them for some wages? But the recompense of your Lord is better, and He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. 73 And most surely those who do not believe in the hereafter are deviating from the way. 74 ۞ Though We had mercy on them and relieved them of the harm afflicting them, they still would wander blindly on in their contumacy. 75 We seized them with the punishment, but they did not surrender to their Lord, nor will they humble themselves 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of severe punishment, then lo! They will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair. 77
