NAY, but consider the moon! 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 A warning unto humankind 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
