It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 It is He who scattered you in the earth, and to Him you shall be mustered. 79 And He it is Who giveth life and causeth death, and His is the difference of night and day. Have ye then no sense? 80 No, but they said what the ancients said before them: 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 “Indeed this promise was given to us and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of earlier people.” 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and Who gives succor, but against Him Succor is not given, if you do but know? 88 They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 Knower of the unseen and the seen, Exalted is He above that which they associate! 92
