It is He who produced for you hearing, and eyes, and hearts; little thanks you show. 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 But nay, they speak as the people of olden times did speak: 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 We were promised such things and so were our forefathers before us. All these are no more than tales of the past." 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 [And they will reply: "Unto God." Say: "Will you not, then, bethink yourselves [of Him]?" 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not then fear Allah (believe in His Oneness, obey Him, believe in the Resurrection and Recompense for each and every good or bad deed)." 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any god along with Him; else would each god have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege. 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
