It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 But they say the same as the ancients said, 81 They say: "What! when we die and become dust and bones, could we really be raised up again? 82 We were promised such things and so were our forefathers before us. All these are no more than tales of the past." 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 He knows both what is visible and what is not visible. Exalted is Allah above all that they associate with Him. 92
