Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence. 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 'What, were My signs not recited to you, and you cried them lies?' 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 “Indeed this day I have rewarded them for their endurance, so that it is they who are the successful.” 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
True are the words of God the Almighty.
