The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
