Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 Their faces will be scorched by flames, and they will grin and scowl within it. 104 [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' ” 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah – of which he does not have any proof – his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
