Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 “Indeed this day I have rewarded them for their endurance, so that it is they who are the successful.” 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known! 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
