Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 O my Lord, do not put me among the harmdoing people' 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 Hence, he who invokes, side by side with God, any other deity - [a deity] for whose existence he has no evidence - shall but find his reckoning with his Sustainer: [and,] verily, such deniers of the truth will never attain to a happy state! 117 And (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) say, “My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the Best of all the Merciful. 118
