Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And say: "O my Sustainer! I seek refuge with Thee from the promptings of all evil impulses; 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
