Say: 'Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 "So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" No! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 [And] He will ask [the doomed]: "What number of years have you spent on earth?" 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
