Have you not seen that all those who are in the heavens and the earth praise Allah, and the birds with their wings spread (also praise Him)? Each one has learnt its prayers and its words of praise; and Allah knows their deeds. 41 for, God's is the dominion over the heavens and the earth, and with God is all journeys' end. 42 See you not that Allah drives the clouds gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap of layers, and you see the rain comes forth from between them. And He sends down from the sky hail (like) mountains, (or there are in the heaven mountains of hail from where He sends down hail), and strike therewith whom He will, and averts it from whom He wills. The vivid flash of its (clouds) lightning nearly blinds the sight. [Tafsir At-Tabari]. 43 It is God who causes night and day to alternate: in this [too,] behold, there is surely a lesson for all who have eyes to see! 44 God has created every beast of water, and some of them go upon their bellies, and some of them go upon two feet, and some of them go upon four; God creates whatever He will; God is powerful over everything. 45 We have sent down revelations clearly showing the truth. God guides whom He wills to the straight path. 46 They (hypocrites) say: "We have believed in Allah and in the Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and we obey," then a party of them turn away thereafter, such are not believers. 47 When they are called to God and His Messenger that he may judge between them, lo, a party of them are swerving aside; 48 But if right had been with them they would have come unto him willingly. 49 Is in their hearts a disease? or doubt they? or fear they that Allah shall misjudge them, as also His apostle? Aye! these are the very wrong-doers! 50
