The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
