The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
