The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
