And [mention] when your Lord called Moses, [saying], "Go to the wrongdoing people - 10 The people of Firon: Will they not guard (against evil)? 11 He said, "My Lord, indeed I fear that they will deny me 12 "And my breast straitens, and my tongue expresses not well. So send for Harun (Aaron) (to come along with me). 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they shall slay me. 14 He said: by no means. So go ye twain with Our signs; verily We shall be with you listening. 15 "So go forth, both of you, to Pharaoh, and say: 'We have been sent by the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds; 16 That you should send the children of Israel with us.' 17 Said Firaun, “Did we do not raise you amongst us, as a child? And you spent many years of your life among us!” 18 Yet you committed the deed you did, surely you are one of the ingrates." 19 Moses replied: "I committed that act erringly. 20 Then I ran away from you in fear, but my Lord granted me the law and has appointed me as a Messenger. 21 And is it a favor of which you remind me that you have enslaved the children of Israel? 22 Said Pharaoh: "And what [and who] is that 'Sustainer of all the worlds'?" 23 He said: Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between, if ye seek to be convinced. 24 Said he to those about him, 'Do you not hear?' 25 Moses went on, "He is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers." 26 Said Firaun, “This (Noble) Messenger of yours, who has been sent towards you, has no intelligence!” 27 He said: Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them, if ye did but understand. 28 Pharaoh said, "If you take any deity other than myself, I will throw you into prison," 29 Moses said: "Even if I were to bring a Clear Sign to you?" 30 Said he: Bring it then, if you are of the truthful ones. 31 So Moosa put down his staff and it became a visible serpent. 32 and he drew his hand (out of his armpit) and lo! it had become a shining object to the beholders. 33
