And [mention] when your Lord called Moses, [saying], "Go to the wrongdoing people - 10 the people of Pharaoh, who refuse to be conscious of Me!" 11 He said: "My Lord! I fear that they will brand me a liar. 12 And my breast straiteneth, and my tongue moveth not quickly: so send for Harun. 13 They also have a sin against me, and I fear they will slay me.' 14 He said: Nay, verily. So go ye twain with Our tokens. Lo! We shall be with you, Hearing. 15 “Therefore approach Firaun then proclaim, ‘We both are Noble Messengers of the Lord Of The Creation.’ 16 "'Send thou with us the Children of Israel.'" 17 He (Pharaoh) said (to Moses): 'Did We not bring you up when you were a child? And have you not spent years of your life amongst us? 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst; and thou art of the ingrates. 19 He (Moses) replied: 'Indeed, I did that when I was among those who stray. 20 “I therefore went away from you as I feared you so my Lord commanded me and appointed me as one of the Noble Messengers.” 21 Is this then the blessing with which you reproach me, that you have the Children of Israel for worshipers' 22 The Pharaoh asked, "Who is the Lord of the Universe?" 23 He said: Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between, if ye seek to be convinced. 24 Fir'awn said unto those around him: hear ye not? 25 He said, 'Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients.' 26 Pharaoh said to the audience: "This Messenger of yours who has been sent to you is simply mad." 27 [But Moses] went on: "[He of whom I speak is] the Sustainer of the east and the west and of all that is between the two - as you would know]" if you would but use your reason!" 28 Pharaoh said, "If you take any deity other than myself, I will throw you into prison," 29 'What, even if I brought you something clear' said he (Moses). 30 (Pharaoh) said: "Show it then, if thou tellest the truth!" 31 Thereupon [Moses] threw down his staff - and lo! it was a serpent, plainly visible; 32 And he drew forth his hand and lo! it was white to the beholders. 33

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
