Behold, thy Lord called Moses: "Go to the people of iniquity,- 10 "The people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear Allah?" 11 He said, 'My Lord, I fear they will cry me lies, 12 and my breast will be straitened, and my tongue will not be loosed; so send to Aaron. 13 They hold a sin against me, and I fear that they will kill me' 14 He said: by no means. So go ye twain with Our signs; verily We shall be with you listening. 15 And go, both of you, unto Pharaoh and say, 'Behold, we bear a message from the Sustainer of all the worlds: 16 (Saying): Let the Children of Israel go with us. 17 He said, 'Did we not raise thee amongst us as a child? Didst thou not tarry among us years of thy life? 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst; and thou art of the ingrates. 19 Moses said, "I did do it and I made a mistake. 20 "So I fled from you when I feared you. But my Lord has granted me Hukman (i.e. religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood), and appointed me as one of the Messengers. 21 And this is the favour with which you taunt me -- that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" 22 Pharaoh said, "What is this: Lord of the Universe?" 23 Moses said, "Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if only you would be convinced." 24 'Do you not hear' said he (Pharaoh) to those around him. 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers. 26 Fir'awn said: verily your apostle who hath been sent unto you is mad. 27 Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the east and the west, and all that is between them, if you did but understand!" 28 Pharaoh said, "If you take any deity other than myself, I will throw you into prison," 29 He said: Even though I show thee something plain? 30 Pharaoh said, "Show it then, if you are telling the truth!" 31 (No sooner had he said this than) Moses threw down his rod and behold, it was a veritable serpent, 32 And he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white for the observers. 33

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
