۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
