۞ Also, We revealed to Moses, saying: 'Go with My worshipers by night, for you will be followed' 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
