۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
