۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
