۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
