Al-Saaffaat 3 of 5
And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 And made his seed the survivors, 77 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times: 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 Then afterwards We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ Verily among those who followed his Way was Abraham. 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart, 84 and said to his father and his people: “Whom do you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood- gods other than Allah- that ye desire? 86 Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 And he cast a glance at the stars, 88 and said, "I am sick!" 89 So turning their backs, they went away from him. 90 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 “What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?” 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 He said: worship ye that which ye carve. 95 even though God created both you and that which you have made?" 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 whereupon We gave him the glad tiding of a boy-child gentle [like himself]? 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, 103 We called out to him "O Abraham! 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty victim. 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good 110 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 111 We gave Abraham the good news of Isaac, a prophet and a righteous man, 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
