Al-Nesaa 16 of 24

We have revealed to you the Book in all Truth so that you judge among people by the laws of God. However, never defend the treacherous ones. 105 And ask the forgiveness of Allah, surely Allah is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful. 106 Do not argue for those who harbour deceit in their hearts, for God does not love the treacherous and the iniquitous. 107 They feel ashamed before men but do not feel ashamed before God, despite His being present with them when they plot at night, uttering things of which He does not approve; and indeed God is fully aware of what they do. 108 Pay heed! It is you people who argued on their behalf in the life of this world; so who will fight on their behalf with Allah on the Day of Resurrection, or who will be their pleader? 109 And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 110 Whoso committeth sin committeth it only against himself. Allah is ever Knower, Wise. 111 And whoso committeth a delinquency or crime, then throweth (the blame) thereof upon the innocent, hath burdened himself with falsehood and a flagrant crime. 112
