The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 The pious ones will live in Paradise wherein streams flow, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
