Nay, by the Moon 32 By the receding night 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 A warning to mankind, 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 About the criminals, 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
