The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
