The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Woe to the stinters; 1 Who, when they take the measure (of their dues) from men take it fully, 2 but when they measure or weigh for others, they reduce! 3 Do those not think that they shall be raised up 4 On a Mighty Day, 5 The Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)? 6 Indeed the ledger of the wicked will be in (the lowest depths) Sijjin. 7 Would that you knew what Sijin is!? 8 A Register inscribed. 9 Woe, that Day, to those who deny [(Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Day of Resurrection, and Al-Qadar (Divine Preordainments)]. 10 Who call the Day of judgement a lie! 11 And none belieth it save each trespasser, sinner. 12 And when Our revelations are rehearsed unto him, he saith: fables of the ancients! 13 Not at all – but rather their earnings have heaped rust upon their hearts. 14 On the Day of Judgment, they will certainly be barred from the mercy of their Lord. 15 Then indeed they have to enter hell. 16 Then, it will be said to them: "This is what you used to deny!" 17 By no means! Verily the record of the virtuous shall be in 'Illiyun. 18 And what will make you know what 'Illiyyun is? 19 A written record, 20 which the angels placed near Allah to safeguard. 21 Verily, Al-Abrar (the pious who fear Allah and avoid evil) will be in delight (Paradise). 22 (reclining) upon couches they will gaze, 23 You can trace on their faces the joy of their bliss. 24 Their thirst will be slaked with Pure Wine sealed: 25 whose seal is musk -- so after that let the strivers strive -- 26 And mixed with water of Tasnim, 27 a fountain at which those brought near (to their Lord) drink. 28 The wicked used to laugh at the believers -- 29 when they passed by them they winked, 30 And when they returned to their own followers they returned exulting. 31 And when they saw them, they said: "Verily! These have indeed gone astray!" 32 Yet they were not sent as watchers over them. 33 But this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers 34 On high couches, gazing. 35 The infidels have indeed been rewarded for that which they had been doing. 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
