The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
