Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
