۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
