۞ Also, We revealed to Moses, saying: 'Go with My worshipers by night, for you will be followed' 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
