Hizb 38
< random >
The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
