The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
